When your original wedding plans were for sunny Mexico don’t quite pan out, you make Plan B epic!
Along the coast of Gippsland, Victoria was Plan B.
Derick being from the USA and Jose from Mexico, their paths crossed when they were both living in Adelaide.
Their first date went from being a casual catch up at a cafe into 6 hours of talking about all of elements of their lives and their different backgrounds.
Since Plan A in Mexico wasn’t going to happen thanks to ‘rona. Derick and Jose knew their closest friends and family they have in Australia had to be there with them.
So their 24 nearest and dearest trekked from different parts of the country to celebrate with them.
Derick and Jose spent the morning with their closest friends getting ready together. It was so relaxed, neck shaving and drinks, haha. It was a winning combination.
Photography/Videography is something D + J really value. So we explored some beautiful spots in the local area before we headed to their breathtaking clifftop ceremony location.
With Precious Fawcett (wedding celebrant) in charge making things official, she certainly made the intimate group of 24 feel like a huge celebration.
The warm breeze coming off the sea was the final touch that this beautiful cliff top ceremony needed.
After some truly beautiful words were exchanged and it was official, we were treated to the most perfect sunset.
Once the sun had gone down, it was time to bring this epic day home and celebrate in style at Dirty Three Wines, Inverloch
Beautiful styled with wine and food flowing, the boys were treated to video messages from all over the world from friends and family congratulating them and send them plenty of love.
