TIPS

5 killer tips to help you choose your wedding photographer

How to choose your wedding photographer
How to choose your wedding photographer

01. CONNECTION

Connection is one of, if not THE most important thing when it’s time to choose your wedding photographer.

Your photographer will be one of the very few people you spend the whole day with! So, having a great connection with someone you think is pretty rad is super important.

They may have a sweet looking instagram, but if they struggle to with quality banter and having a laugh throughout the day could get awkward pretty quickly.

You’re going to want to have a pretty solid thirdwheel!

02. LOVE THEIR WORK

It goes without saying, that you have to really love the work your photographer creates. It’s one of the first connections you’ll make with your wedding photographer.

One question to ask yourself when you’re looking at a photographers portfolio is ‘Would I love our day captured like this?’

03. THE THOUGHT OF HAVING THEM THERE ON YOUR DAY EXCITES YOU

Once you’ve met your photographer, you will 100% know at this point how you gel and imagine them there on your day.

If you start feeling super excited about having them there with you on the day, this is a golden sign that you may have found the one!

04. GO WITH YOUR GUT

It’s really easy to get caught up with the sheer quantity of wedding photographers out there – If you’ve met with a few photographers, you love all of their work and finding it hard to choose.. GO WITH YOU GUT!

Think about what stood out between them.
There is a really high chance that once you’ve met with them, you’ll just know.

Whether you feel a stronger connection, or more comfortable. Your gut/intuition will be telling you which way to go, so listen to it!

05. INVEST IN THINGS THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO YOU

Let’s bring this home on a biggy.

This is your wedding day and there are no do-overs!

Investing in things that you truly value such as photography & videography shouldn’t be thought of as ‘another expense’, but an investment in your future and how your day is documented and preserved literally forever.
